Located right across the street from Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, get ready for a wet-and-wild way to celebrate summer in Florida.
Welcome to Tampa’s biggest and baddest water park - Adventure Island.
Adventure Island features a wide variety of attractions throughout the park for visitors of all ages. Kid-friendly zones are aplenty, meanwhile, high-flying rides for adults await.
Check out all of the twists, turns, and drops on the water slides. Vanish Point is an epic free-fall not for the faint of heart, meanwhile, Solar Vortex is America’s first dual tailspin waterslide.
Or if you want to ease into your day, we recommend visiting the 17,000 square foot wave pool that offers a rolling surf every five minutes.
In addition, the Rambling Bayou lazy river is also a nice treat, with a calm flow down the half-mile rainforest river. You might even pass under a tropical waterfall!
The park opened back in June 1980 and has since expanded to become a behemoth of summer family fun.
One of the more popular add-ons at the park includes the All-Day Dining Deal, which is one set price to enjoy delicious meals at different restaurants throughout the park all day long.
Adults can head over to the Bayou Beach Club during their visit in order to snag one of the coveted tropical cocktails, too.
Voted by USA Today at one of the 10Best Water Parks in the country, come see what all the fuss is about before summer ends!
