If you’re a fan of holiday celebrations in and around the Motor City, you’ve surely explored some of the area’s most popular events. From the Big, Bright Light Show in downtown Rochester to the ice skating rink and tree-lighting in Campus Martius Park, there’s no shortage of cheer to be found throughout the city. While you might have explored Crossroads Village’s Christmas events on foot, you’ll be thrilled to know that this unique spot offers a breathtaking drive-through lights display.
Crossroads Village & Huckleberry Railroad can be found at 6140 N Bray Road in Flint, approximately one hour and 15 minutes by car from the heart of downtown Detroit.
Throughout the year, this unique spot brings history to life by offering a taste of the 19th century. When you visit, you’ll enjoy everything from historical buildings to train rides.
During the holiday season, though, there’s a special magic to be discovered at Crossroads Village. Each year, countless families flock to the Christmas At Crossroads event.
While plenty of Detroiters have checked out the on-foot attractions at this annual gathering, many aren’t aware that Crossroads Village offers a drive-through light display.
That’s right: on select evenings through the end of December, visitors can take part in the “drive-through only” access to a seemingly endless array of twinkling Christmas lights.
The drive-through event lasts from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. and costs just $5 per vehicle, so load up the whole car to enjoy up-close views of the brilliant lights. There’s so much to appreciate.
If you simply can’t get enough, stop in on another evening to immerse yourself in the world of Christmas At Crossroads. Santa Claus himself is even slated to make an appearance.
When you’re ready to dive into the holiday spirit with full force, drive your way through hundreds of lights at this one-of-a-kind destination. Even the Grinch would be charmed.
Drive-through only nights at this event will be December 2, 9, 16, 23-24, and 30.
