No matter when you stroll Rehoboth Beach, you'll see children and adults trying their hand at Sandcastle Sculpting.
Though most people stacking sand on the beach are content to walk away from their art, some people take their sand sculpting skills very seriously, and work all summer to refine their craft.
Every year, dozens of sand sculptors gather on the beach in front of Funland to show off what they've been practicing all summer long.
The incredible, impressive sandcastles are created over the course of the day, and there are three categories of castles.
Kids under 14 enter the Youth division, Adults have their own division, and businesses can enter and build a group-effort castle.
