Lake Compounce light display is full of festive activities to help you celebrate Christmas in Connecticut. Caroling, story time with Mrs. Claus, a light show, and an ice carver making unbelievable creations are just a few of the things going on at this winter festival. Holiday Lights features a lit Christmas tree that is 100 feet tall — the largest in Connecticut. It takes thousands of dazzling lights to decorate this massive tree.

You will definitely want to take a ride on the North Pole Railway. Who doesn't love a festive train ride during the holidays? Other select rides like the carousel will be open at the amusement park as well — as long as the weather permits.

The oversized mailbox at this Lake Compounce Christmas event is ready to accept any letters that you have written to Santa. You can also decorate cookies and join in on other seasonal activities that are fun for the whole family. Santa is available to visit with at the park, and he is waiting to hear who has been naughty and who has been nice. You can also get your picture taken with this jolly fellow.

This enchanted winter walk also features a gorgeous light show set to holiday music favorites that you can see every half hour.
