Remington Arms Factory is an abandoned factory on Barnum Avenue.
The factory dates back to 1867 and was completely abandoned in the 1980s, though many of the buildings had become out of order at an earlier time.
The factory is a hot spot for paranormal activity.
Many accidents have occurred here, some of which were fatal. Shadowy figures haunt the factory and there have been accounts of voices and manufacturing noises.
A creepy visit to Bridgeport wouldn't be complete without stopping by Mountain Grove Cemetery.
This cemetery is allegedly built on Native American burial grounds.
If you want a little bit of spooky, visit the cemetery at night.
Legend has it that a young boy can be heard crying out for his mother on the grounds.
Majestic Theater is an abandoned theater located on Main Street.
It opened in the 1920s and stopped operations in the 1970s.
Some people say it was also built on a Native American burial ground.
That may explain the shadowy figures. Two murders also occurred here and mysterious voices may be attributed to that.
