Are you looking for just the perfect gift for someone? Maybe you've searched everywhere, but you want something that is as beautiful and unique as they are. Artisans at Middle River is where you'll want to go to discover creative gifts made by local artisans. By buying from the vendors at Artisans at Middle not only will you have an opportunity to browse different types of gift ideas and maybe pick up a few items for yourself, but you will also be supporting local Connecticut businesses.
Since May of 2019, Artisans at Middle River in Stafford Springs has been welcoming new guests and showcasing the works of 33 creative artisans who live in Connecticut or the New England area.
The gallery was the idea of local photographer, Dot Drobney, who has been operating a number of photography studios for the last 10 years. That expertise led her to the idea of making a location that would help the local art community.
Her dream was to have a place where the creative work and talent of friends and other local artists could be showcased in one location and customers would have the opportunity to visit and be able to buy locally handcrafted products.
The main purpose of this little shop isn't only about showcasing local artists. Dot Drobney wanted customers to have a sense of awe and wonder when they visited. This small and cozy shop does just that with its collection of diverse craftsmanship.
You can be sure to find everything from jewelry and art work to herbs and sustainable, upcycled products. Gift ideas include children's clothing, wooden signs, eco textiles, soaps, delicious nut butters, honey, and so much more.
Artisans at Middle River has taken extra precautions at this time with their sanitizing procedures. They also offer shipping options, curbside pickup, and local delivery.
