1. Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams

How could we possibly start with anything else? Jeni's opened its first store in 2002 at the North Market. With flavors like Osmanthus & Blackberry Crackle and Middle West Whisky & Pecans, it quickly became famous in and out of the city. You can find Jeni's pints in many grocery stores throughout the city, and there's frequently a line out the door at the stores.

2. Graeter's Ice Cream

Another local favorite is Graeter's Ice Cream. Graeter's first opened in 1876 in Cincinnati and they've been serving delicious French Pot ice cream ever since. At Graeter's, you'll find the classic flavors like vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry, but you'll also see more unique signature flavors like Black Cherry Chocolate Chip and Toffee Chocolate Chip, as well as a variety of sorbets.

3. Johnson's Real Ice Cream

Johnson's has been serving classic, delicious ice cream in Columbus since 1950. A trip to Johnson's has been a part of Bexley life for decades, and they recently added a second location. Here, you'll flavors like Blueberry Pie and Salty Caramel Pretzel.

4. Simply Rolled Ice Cream

Simply Rolled in inspired by street vendors in Thailand. They offer made-to-order ice cream rolls and use only local grass-grazed and hormone-free dairy ingredients. You can choose your flavors from over 20 mix-in toppings, including strawberry, apple cobbler, and pumpkin cheesecake.
