5. Molas Lake Park & Campground (Silverton)
If getting in touch with Mother Nature is your idea of heaven, you are going to love camping at Molas Lake Park. Named the "Most Scenic Campground in Colorado" by AAA, Molas is a 137-acre campground that will have you coming back year after year. (I mean, you’re seeing this picture, right? It's stunning!)
6. Boulder Creek (Boulder)
Summer is coming, which means that tubing season isn’t too far behind. Spanning nearly 32 miles, Boulder Creek was named one of the 10 best lazy rivers for tubing in America by Men’s Journal and features a slow and steady stream of cool water.
7. Mesa Winds Farm & Winery (Hotchkiss)
Do you want to know my idea of a relaxing time? You’re looking at it! Tucked away in Hotchkiss, Mesa Winds Farm & Winery is a self-sustaining 36-acre farm with jaw-dropping views, delightful wines, delicious meals, and charming cabins.
8. 5 Star Salt Caves (Denver)
Built around a man-made Himalayan rock salt cave, 5 Star is a must visit for its energy healing, sauna, and, of course, the Halotherapy cave that promotes better health and fewer body toxins.
9. The Vail Collective Retreat (Vail)
Is roughing it a little too — err, rough — for you? Look no further than the Vail Collective! From assembling your accommodations to finding the perfect food and activities, the friendly staff at this retreat will pull out all the stops and make sure you never lift a finger.
10. Trail 403 (Crested Butte)
When you are trying to relax, the last thing you probably think of is climbing a mountain, but in the case of Trail 403, it’s totally worth it! Located in Gunnison National Forest, Trail 403 is a roughly 8-mile out-and-back trail that is chock-full of lush meadows and super fragrant wildflowers.
11. Flagstaff House (Boulder)
Last, but certainly not least on our list of most serene places is arguably the most beautiful restaurant in Colorado: the Flagstaff House. Originally built as a cabin in 1929 and converted into an upscale restaurant in 1954, the Flagstaff House is a true work of art with carefully selected dinner and wine menus, rustic atmosphere, and unbeatable views as far as the eye can see.
