Art collecting is an amazing hobby, allowing art aficionados to discover new talents from around the world and explore crafts in countless mediums. However, it can also be an expensive hobby, and the barrier to entry can be daunting to anyone on a budget. That's what inspired the founders of one of the best art festivals in the country to make their event a little different. The Affordable Arts Festival in Colorado has one big difference - every art piece sold at the festival is under $150, much less than what they can sell for elsewhere! This show is the only place where you can find these unique items at this price The Affordable Arts Festival can be found on the grounds of Arapahoe Community College in Littleton, on the outskirts of Denver, and this year it's being held on August 27th, 2023.
You'll want to buy your tickets well in advance because this is one of the hottest summer events in all of Colorado! Each booth is a mini-showcase for years of work for an artist, often with dozens or more of their pieces on display. You can easily spend all day browsing!
The visual artists on display have a huge variation in style, with some specializing in breathtaking photography.
Others take a more abstract vein, with styles that make for the perfect conversation piece in a living room or office.
One of the most impressive parts of this event is the wide assortment of woodworking artists. This old-fashioned art can craft amazing pieces of houseware.
Other woodworking artists specialize in stunningly detailed sculptures. This little bird feels like it could take off any second now!
Other pieces defy description, being crafted according to a unique vision of the artist and waiting for the person they speak to. Maybe some of them will find their home with you!
