These 9 streets are lined with character and you'll absolutely love exploring them!
1. Hamilton Avenue in Northside
If you haven't walked along Hamilton Avenue in Northside in a while, you must check it out! This vibrant community is constantly changing and has a wonderful neighborhood feel. Local shops line the street and you'll find some of the best restaurants in the city!
2. Vine Street in Over-the-Rhine
Vine Street ranks as one of the most eclectic and charming streets in Cincinnati. If this surprises you, then you haven't seen it recently! Lined with colorful murals, flower-filled pots and plenty of people out for a stroll, this popular street has it all. Shop for one-of-a-kind treasures, enjoy a unique meal and top it off with a number of delicious dessert and drink options.
3. Erie Avenue in Hyde Park
Hyde Park Square is the classic walkable street in Cincinnati. With a small park running down the middle and shops and restaurants filling both sides of the street, there is plenty to see and do here! The square also hosts an amazing farmer's market, as well as other fun events.
4. Madison Road in Oakley
This section of Madison Road- with its iconic theater and other well-known establishments- is a charming spot for an afternoon walk. With the recent additions of even more restaurants and businesses, you can continue to walk further into Oakley for more entertainment and make a day of it!
5. Broadway in Lebanon
Located just north of Cincinnati, you'll fall in love with the charm of Broadway in Lebanon. Anchored by the historic Golden Lamb Restaurant and Hotel, this walkable area has many little shops and especially comes alive during the many festivals and parades that frequent the city.
6. Wooster Pike in Mariemont
One of the most idyllic streets in Cincinnati, the center of Mariemont is incredibly scenic and charming. The tree-lined sidewalks and European-style buildings make it a lovely spot for an afternoon walk.
7. Miami Avenue in Madeira
Madeira is often named one of the best places to live in Cincinnati and its walkability has a lot to do with that. The charming stretch of Miami Avenue includes a train track and small station, along with local shops and sought after eateries.
8. Ludlow Avenue in Clifton
The Gaslight Business District is one of the most loved areas of Cincinnati. With favorite spots like The Esquire theater, as well as classic Graeters and Skyline locations, it's a great date night destination!
9. Harrison Avenue in Westwood
The community has rallied to make this stretch of Westwood a wonderfully walkable, charming place to be! With "pop-up" get togethers and new businesses opening regularly, this is surely an area of Cincinnati to watch.
