It's hard to believe, but now that summer is in full swing, the 4th of July is right around the corner. You may be wondering, "Where can I find fireworks near me this year?" 1. Red, White & Blue Ash - July 4th at Summit Park
Summit Park in Blue Ash is THE place to be on the 4th of July. With a huge concert (REO Speedwagon is headlining at 8:15pm), plenty of activities, and food, it's a great spot to spend the holiday. This year, you can start reserving your seating space on the lawn at 7am, but the gates officially open at 4pm with the fabulous fireworks starting at 10pm.
2. Colerain Township/Rumpke 4th of July Spectacular - July 1st on Springdale Road
Colerain is back to celebrating the 4th of July in a big way with a fantastic fireworks show on Saturday, July 1st. With free admission, free parking, and free shuttle service, it's easy to make this a family-friendly affair. The event begins at 7pm and the fireworks will begin at 9:45pm.
3. Independence 4th of July Celebration - July 1st at Memorial Park
With a name like Independence, this Northern Kentucky town just has to deliver on the 4th, and they do! They celebrate with a huge festival on the evening of June 30th and throughout the day on the 1st. On the night of the 1st, the Gen X Band concert will begin at 7pm, with fireworks at 10pm.
5. 4th of July Jam - July 1st at Washington Park
Washington Park is filled with activity these days, and the 4th of July is no different. On Saturday, July 1st, their 4th of July Jam gets started at 3pm with live music, food trucks and an assortment of games and entertainment. Bring your own lawn chair or blanket and enjoy the fireworks display at 9:50pm.
5. LaRosa's Balloon Glow - July 3rd at Coney Island
Editor's note: Unfortunately, Coney Island has closed and this event is no longer happening.Arguably the most beautiful event of the summer, LaRosa's Balloon Glow at Coney Island returns on July 3rd. The only cost to view the balloons and fireworks is parking -- then you're free to roam Moonlite Mall and view these glowing giants. Fireworks over Lake Como begin at 10pm.
