Full of interactive sprayers, sprinklers, spouts, and so much more, these splash pads are tons of fun for kids and they are well worth a visit.
1. Enterprise Park - Redding
Located inside Enterprise Park is a unique water spray park known as Fantasy Fountain. Reconstructed in 2013, the park boasts a multitude of water spray features. The most notable is a massive volcano which rumbles and erupts with a torrent of water every six minutes. Address: 4300 Victor Avenue, Redding, CA 96002
2. Swanston Splash Park - Sacramento
Located inside Sacramento's Swanston Park, the Swanston Splash Park is an exciting attraction that is free and open to the public Memorial Day through Labor Day. Featuring multiple gushing geysers, the park provides hours of fun for little ones. Known as one of the biggest and best spraygrounds in the area, the park also contains a wonderful playground that's perfect for playing on once you've had your fill at the splash pad. 3. Morse Park - Elk Grove
The sprayground at Morse Park is another great spot to cool off at. Featuring a palm tree that dumps water, fish water guns, and several other fountains that are perfect for running around in, it's no wonder this is a favorite among locals. 4. Magnolia Park - Vacaville
Magnolia Park is another great option hiding out in Vacaville. The quaint, six-acre park features picnic shelters, barbecues, basketball courts, and of course, a custom spray-play area. There's definitely a lot to love here! Address: Cogburn Cir, Vacaville, CA 95687
5. Promontory Water Play Area - El Dorado Hills
Located in El Dorado Hills, Promontory Community Park features one of the cutest splash pads on this list. Comprised of giant butterfly fixture, kids will be absolutely delighted as they're sprayed by the garden snake, run through a gushing rainbow, and take on the dumping cones. 6. Lely Park - Orland
Lely Park's splash pad has quickly become a favorite since first opened to the public in 2014. With a theme of fire trucks and hydrants, the park is meant to honor the Orland Volunteer Fire Department. They also use fountains with a slower flow than most splash pads, making this a great option for the environmentally conscious family. Address: 200 Co Rd 200, Orland, CA 95963
7. Freedom Park - McClellan Park
Located right next to the Aerospace Museum of California, you can definitely fill an entire day exploring everything Freedom Park has to offer. The park's splash pad is absolutely magical and afterwards you can check out the park's other unique features including a mini rock climbing wall, zip line, and an impressive playground structure. 8. North Natomas Regional Park - Sacramento
Comprised of 48-acres, North Natomas Regional Park is another multi-use area in Sacramento. The water spray area will definitely keep you cool in the summer.
