Celebrate this beautiful Northern California town that’s literally rising up from the ashes at this open house. The town of Paradise is hosting an Open House weekend in partnership with the Rebuild Paradise Foundation and the Paradise Ridge Chamber of Commerce on June 1-2.
Paradise was almost completely destroyed in 2018 by the Camp Fire, which killed 85 people and created more than $16 billion in damages.
This Open House weekend welcomes the public to tour this NorCal town and see how far it has come in rebuilding. With fun activities, like a party in the park and guided hikes, you might even want to relocate to this NorCal haven.
This Open House weekend is designed to encourage people to consider moving to Paradise, or the nearby area of Magalia.
Compared to many areas in California, the housing market in Paradise is affordable.
You won’t want to miss the party in the park, featuring live music, food vendors, and a special “kids’ zone.”
The party takes place on Saturday from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Visitors can stop by booths set-up by local businesses to learn more about the community and various organizations in Paradise.
And don’t miss the outdoor activities offered at this weekend event!
Locals will be hosting guided hiking tours around the beautiful Paradise Lake. Once you see the lake, you might want to rent kayaks and get out on the water.
Paradise is also unveiling the new (and stunning!) Bille Park Trail, which will be open to the public during Open House weekend.
This beautiful park is surrounded by a redwood grove. It has a playground, picnic tables, and a gazebo.
This event is intended to draw in new residents, but even if you’re not considering moving, it’s worth visiting just to see this beautiful and resilient town. But if you are considering a move, there will be plenty of information to answer any questions you might have.
Locals will be ready to tell you about the local schools, churches, medical services, arts organizations, and more, to help you prepare to settle into the community.
So if you’ve never visited Paradise or Magalia, mark your calendars for the first weekend in June for this family-friendly event.
