With Fourth of July right around the corner, it's time to start planning where you're going to watch fireworks in Southern California. In 2016 we shared a list of all the best places in SoCal where you could watch an incredible fireworks show, and now we're here to do it again with updated information for 2017.

1. Pasadena Rose Bowl Stadium -- Stadium opens at 2 p.m. for festivities and fireworks show at 9 p.m.
For one of the most epic fireworks shows in Southern California, you won't want to miss this annual 4th of July celebration at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena. Gates open at 2 p.m. for holiday festivities and show begins at 9 p.m. Arrive early to ensure a great seat for this awesome annual show in Pasadena.
2. Big Bay Boom -- 9 p.m. along the bay in San Diego.
To experience the largest fireworks show in San Diego County, you'll want to check out the Big Bay Boom. This annual event features a brilliant show that launches fireworks from four different barges along the bay. View the show from various spots in San Diego including Shelter Island, Harbor Island, the Marina District, North Embarcadero and Coronado Ferry Landing.
3. Marina del Rey -- 9 p.m. from Fisherman's Village, Burton Chace Park, and waterfront hotels.
Combine a fireworks show with oceanfront viewing and you have yourself an incredible 4th of July celebration in Marina del Rey. Whether you're viewing from Fisherman's Village or from a local restaurant or hotel, there isn't a bad seat in the house.
4. Anaheim -- Disneyland Fireworks and Celebration.
There's nothing more all-American than celebrating Fourth of July at Disneyland and experiencing their epic fireworks show. Spend the day at the amusement park and close the evening with a colorful sky filled with magical fireworks.
5. Big Bear Lake -- 8:45 p.m. fireworks show.
This spectacular fireworks show and Fourth of July event in Big Bear Lake makes for a memorable holiday. You can view this festive fireworks display from several parks throughout Big Bear or from a local waterfront restaurant with views of the lake. Show begins at 8:45 p.m.

- Oceanside -- Fourth of July festivities from 5-9:30 p.m. at El Corazon Site at Rancho Del Oro Drive. Date: July 3rd.
- San Diego Sea World -- 9:40 p.m. This 15-minute show is set to a festive musical soundtrack. Date: July 4th.
- San Diego Annual Big Bay Boom -- 9 p.m. Find any spot along the bay to enjoy the largest show in the county. Date: July 4th.
