The owner, Michael Rugg, has been avidly collecting Bigfoot items since he was a kid. It seems that a fascination with Bigfoot and other mythological creatures was born in Rugg from day one. Today, visitors from all over the world can come and get a look at Rugg's massive collection and decide for themselves whether they are a believer or not.
Bigfoot is no stranger to Northern California. In fact, a topographic map on the museum's wall pinpoints every Bigfoot sighting in the immediate proximity—over 150 of them. Whether you believe in him or not, you've got to admit that Bigfoot culture isn't going away anytime soon.
