1. Dripping Cave Trail -- Aliso and Wood Canyons Wilderness Park at 28373 Alicia Pkwy in Laguna Niguel, CA.

Looking for an outdoorsy adventure? There's a 4500-acre wilderness park known for the historic Dripping Cave Trail that leads to a hidden cave. Also known as Robber's Cave, as it was once a popular hideout for thieves who used this spot to hijack stagecoaches, this fun hike will add a unique slice of SoCal history to your day as you enjoy some fresh air out in the wilderness.

2. Potato Chip Rock -- Mt. Woodson in Poway, CA.

How about a hike and an epic photo opportunity? Head to Potato Chip Rock located in Mt. Woodson in Poway and get your adventure on for a hike in the fresh outdoors that leads to a rock that looks just like a potato chip.

3. Burro Schmidt Tunnel -- Mojave Desert

There's nothing quite like a cave adventure in SoCal! Our favorite cave, the Burro Schmidt Tunnel, dates back to the 1900s and is the site of a former mining tunnel that was carved by hand by a single individual over a 38-year period. Take this day trip out to the Mojave Desert as it's one of SoCal's coolest hidden gems. You can find the Burro Schmidt Tunnel off Highway 14 in Red Rock Canyon State Park.

4. San Diego Zoo Safari Park Covered Wagon Tour -- Escondido, CA.

If you've ever daydreamed about going on safari, but the idea of hopping on a plane and heading to the other side of the world doesn't appeal to you, then you'll want to check out this Covered Wagon Tour. Located right here in SoCal at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park in Escondido, this outdoor experience will make you feel like you're on an exotic international adventure without having to stray far from home.

5. Malibu Wine Safari -- Saddlerock Ranch and Vineyard located in Malibu at 32111 Mulholland Hwy.

Speaking of safaris, how about a wine safari?!
