Beaver Lake is a wonder all its own, but you might not know there’s something absolutely spectacular hiding near that popular lake. That hidden gem is called War Eagle Cavern, and between all the wonder you’ll find underground and all the activities above ground, you’re definitely not going to suffer from boredom when you visit this incredible attraction. In fact, you’ll love every second of your trip to War Eagle Cavern.
You’ll find War Eagle Cavern at 21494 Cavern Drive in Rogers.
Even the sign to War Eagle Cavern makes it look like loads of fun.
Unlike most of the other caves in the Natural State, War Eagle Cavern’s entrance is natural. You’ll be walking right into this:
You can take an hour long guided tour through the cave and learn all about its formations and history.
That tour, by the way, follows an underground stream.
From entrance to exit, the cave is a Natural State wonder you really shouldn’t miss.
Once you’re out of the cave and back aboveground, War Eagle Cavern has several activities that will appeal to the whole family, including gorgeous nature trails.
There’s no better place to get lost in woods than in War Eagle Cavern’s Lost in the Woods Maze.
They even have a place called "the big dig" where the kids can dig for a "mammoth" skeleton.
Your family may also want to pan for semiprecious stones.
The gift shop is full of trinkets and treasures.
In the spring, the Ozarks are even more gorgeous than usual, and War Eagle Cavern is no exception. There's no time like the present, so you should think about exploring this attraction right away. It really is fun for the whole family.
