The Josephine Tussaud Wax Museum has been a Hot Springs must-see since 1967. And in recent years, it’s grown to include another museum – the History of Hot Springs Gambling Museum.
As the name implies, the History of Hot Springs Gambling Museum highlights the history of gambling in Hot Springs.
More specifically, it focuses on the illegal gambling, which was rampant in Hot Springs during the early 1900s.
Inside, there are hundreds of historic slot machines and about 20 gaming tables.
The immense collection also includes a variety of vintage gambling-related items, such as dice, cards, Zippos, matchbooks, advertisements, and documents.
Visitors can even peruse through the old FBI case files relating to the gambling industry in Hot Springs.
And unlike most museums, the History of Hot Springs Gambling Museum actually encourages visitors to touch the exhibits! That’s right; you can actually try out the vintage slot machines.
Another huge perk is that it’s FREE to visit the museum.
