1. Palace Drug Store & Soda Fountain - Mammoth Springs
It's hard to find a old fashioned soda fountain these days but the Palace Drug Store in Mammoth Springs is the perfect stop for a classic milkshake date. They also offer different lunch specials every week. They're located at 270 Main St., Mammoth Spring, AR 72554.
2. Metro Streetcar - Little Rock
Take time to slow down and enjoy the ride in Little Rock's replica vintage trolleys. The 3.4-mile River Rail Electric Streetcar line tours around the must-see attractions around the city. A round trip on the River Rail is only 50 cents a person. Hop aboard in the River Market District which can be found around 400 President Clinton Ave., Little Rock, AR 72201.
3. Kenda Drive-In - Marshall
Arkansas' oldest drive-in theater has been in business for over 50 years. Kenda Drive-In still uses the old school speaker boxes (radio transmitting is available too) and adult tickets are only $6. The theater is located at 107 Westwood Dr., Marshall, AR 72650.
4. The Park at West End - Fort Smith
This little downtown park is a funky mix of nostalgic fair rides. The Ferris wheel is from the 1935 World's Fair in San Diego, the vintage carousel was hand painted in Italy, and a refurbished Pullman rail-car make their home at the park. Admission is free and the rides are $1. The park is located at 115 Garrison Ave., Fort Smith, AR 72901.
5. Dust Bowl Lanes & Lounge - Little Rock
Dust Bowl recently opened in Little Rock earlier this year but walking in will make you feel like you've stepped onto the original Big Lebowski set. The '70s themed bowling alley offers deliciously new twists to classic pub fare. They're located at 315 East Capitol in Little Rock.
6. Broadway Railroad Cafe - Prescott
Please note, Broadway Railroad Cafe has permanently closed.
This classic diner has been open since 1920. In the best of ways not much has changed at the cafe. The impeccably clean decor really makes you feel like you're back in a simpler time. The diner is right across the railroad tracks at 123 W 1st St. N, Prescott, AR 71857.
7. Pinpoint - Fayetteville
A fresh take on a vintage favorite, Pinpoint is Arkansas' first and only pinball bar. '70s and '80s babies will have a blast as their inner child runs wild. Pinpoint is located at 23 Block Ave., Fayetteville, AR 72701.
