From old-school soda fountains to throwback hotels, Arizona is full of blasts from the past. One of our favorites is Castles N' Coasters, an amusement park in Phoenix beloved by local families since 1976. With nearly two dozen rides and attractions, four mini-golf courses, and a massive arcade, it's the perfect place to spend a day unleashing your inner child.
Since 1976, Castles N Coasters has been entertaining Arizonans of all ages with a plethora of indoor and outdoor attractions.
Today, the amusement park features a whopping 20 different rides, plus four miniature golf courses, over 150 arcade and pinball games, and five snack bars.
From roller coasters to bumper cars to funhouses (and everything in between), there are enough rides to keep you entertained from open until close.
Some of the more thrilling attractions have a minimum height requirement, but rest assured your little ones have plenty just for them, including a miniature Ferris wheel.
On Splashdown, you'll board a giant log and embark on a heart-pounding flume journey down a slide filled with water.
You might get a little wet, but it's all in good fun!
A quarter-mile of hairpin twists and turns awaits on the Go Kart Racers Track, directly underneath the famous Desert Storm roller coaster.
While you drive, you'll hear the screams of roller coaster riders overhead - perhaps you'll take their place next?
Speaking of the Desert Storm, it's the pride and joy of the park.
With vertical drops, spins, and loop-the-loops galore, this high-speed thrill ride isn't for the faint of heart.
The four miniature golf courses are each 18 holes and boast lush palm trees, replicas of world-famous landmarks, and easily recognizable characters.
Set your ball down and get to putting... maybe you'll score an elusive hole-in-one (or a few)!
Heading indoors, the arcade spans 10,000 feet and three levels.
The games range from old-school classics like pinball to modern-day favorites, plus a VR experience and interactive 3D movie theater.
