Hot air balloon festivals are all the rage here in Arizona, and one, in particular, is getting an epic Halloween makeover. The Spooktacular Hot Air Balloon Festival at Salt River Fields will be taking over Scottsdale next month. A celebration of epic proportions, it features live music, vendors, food and beverages, and more than 20 balloons that all serve as trick-or-treat stations for the kiddos. Tickets are already on sale, so don't miss out!
Each year, more than 20 hot air balloons cast a dim, mystical glow over Salt River Fields.
The Spooktacular is a family-friendly festival that revolutionizes Halloween for all ages.
Over 4,000 pounds of candy will be handed out in total. Each balloon is a designated trick-or-treat station, providing ample opportunity for the kiddos to load up on goodies.
Tethered balloon rides offer an unforgettable experience to the whole family.
Soar through the night sky much like a witch on her broomstick, marveling at the entire festival laid out before your eyes.
Costume contests on both nights award kids, adults, and groups a chance to show off their most elaborate looks.
Winners will take home a trophy and $100 Visa gift card, so make sure you put some thought into it!
Other activities include live music, vendors, a haunted trail, fireworks, and special area for children to play.
With over 40 attractions including inflatable bounce houses and an obstacle course, your little monsters won't ever get bored.
Plenty of ghoulishly good snacks and beverages will keep everyone fueled throughout the festivities.
Don't leave without a bag of delicious kettle corn to much on!
Address: 7555 N Pima Road, Scottsdale, AZ 85258
The Spooktacular will take place on Friday, October 25 and Saturday, October 26 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
