Six different 5,330-foot-long zip lines drop 1330 feet down the mountainside towards Icy Strait. This incredible descent offers a great adrenaline rush.
Your adventure starts after you take a short walk through towering old-growth rainforest.
After launch, you’ll speed down the mountain at top speeds of 60 miles per hour. And you’ll be flying at 300 feet above the tree line below you.
Keep your eyes peeled as you head down the mountain.
On nice, clear days, you might be able to see the nearby peaks of Glacier Bay National Park in the distance! And make sure you bundle up, especially if it rains. The speed and wind from your descent may be a little chilly.
This adventure is 1.5 hours long from start to finish.
That includes the bus ride up Hoonah Mountain, the instructions, and the descent down the mountain. The actual descent itself takes just minutes.

You’re in luck because photos will be available for purchase when you reach the bottom. Just don’t forget to say cheese as you’re hurtling down the mountainside!
The six parallel lines down the mountainside mean you can run this tour with the whole family.
Riders must be between 75 and 275 pounds, and you must be okay with heights! This ride isn’t recommended for those with back and neck problems. And it’s also not recommended for pregnant women, either.
