Corner Bistro in Wilmington is a great spot for lunch any day. They offer a Bistro (express) Lunch that varies every day. 6. Fat Rick and Son's BBQ, Wilmington

Fat Rick and Son's has been catering Wilmington-area picnics, events, and parties and has been known around the state as an amazing barbeque place with some of the best smoked meats in Delaware. They finally opened a restaurant in the Foulkstone Plaza Office Park and it is open for lunch on weekdays from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.1413 Foulk Rd

Wilson's General Store in Georgetown is a Delaware treasure. Mr. Wilson's family has owned the store for decades and they make the best scrapple, egg and cheese in the entire state.24730 Springfield Rd

The beef tongue tacos at El Nopal are mouthwatering and tender - by far the best tacos linguas I've had in Delaware. Don't drive by this place, even if you only have time for takeout, it's worth ordering a taco or two for the road.627 W Division St

10. R&R Grill and Bar, Laurel

R & R Grill and Bar in Laurel is a divey hole in the wall bar that's frequented by families and bikers alike - and the food is always delicious. Pictured above is my choice, whenever I visit: fried fish, fresh fries (their fries are AMAZING) and hand-battered onion rings. Okay, so I like fried bar food - a lot. 11. Fin Alley, Fenwick Island

You've GOT to try the Crab Salsa at Fin Alley in Fenwick Island - it's phenomenal. This new beach spot has never disappointed - they serve up some amazing food for such an under-the-radar restaurant in Delaware.
