You know, Maryland likes to talk a whole lot about crab cakes. The truth is, the best crab cakes on the coast are right here in the First State. One of our signature crab cake restaurants, Crabcake Factory Bayside, might think it's a Maryland establishment, based on the flag decor, but the truth will always be that it's located firmly on our side of the border in Fenwick Island. However, geography doesn't really matter too much here, because regardless of where borders fall, the best Bloody Mary you'll ever find is located in this little crab shack on the water.
Crabcake Factory Bayside might look like a tropical paradise, but you'll find a crowd here all year long.
This crab shack is one of the best places in Delaware for seafood lovers, and you've got to visit if you enjoy Bloody Marys and brunch.
It's hard to top their crabcakes, which were actually voted "Best in Maryland," despite Bayside being on the Delaware side of the border.
Their secret is the fresh and perfectly seasoned jumbo lump crab meat. There's no filler, so you enjoy savory crab in every bite.
Their crabcake eggs Benedicts are famous throughout the state. There are four to choose from, featuring shrimp, crabcakes, and bistro steak. Each one is topped with over a quarter pound of jumbo lump crab meat.
The real reason so many people come to Crabcake Factory for breakfast, though, is their outrageously delicious Bloody Marys.
There are seven different Marys on the menu. Order the Key West Shrimp Mary for Old Bay spiced shrimp, or the Lump And Claw one, featuring blue crab claws and extra crab meat.
Go ahead, treat yourself to the big one! The 32-ounce Triple Threat is a huge drink, but it's sure to be the highlight of the best breakfast you've had in ages.
Visit Crabcake Factory Bayside any time of year and enjoy the best Bloody Mary in Delaware. In the summer, you'll find plenty of friendly company at the bar and a great deck to enjoy over the bay. In the winter, off-season specials are one reason to visit over and over again.
