When winter rolls in, Delawareans start to get a little bored. While the beaches are nice in the offseason, the weather doesn't always cooperate and our favorite restaurants are closed until it begins to get a little warmer. When you're looking for something new to do, consider taking a road trip way down south to try the best pizza in Delaware. The drive is so worth it!
For years, families have been making the trek downstate to try the best pizza in Delaware - Delmar Pizza.
This family owned establishment has been a community favorite for well over a decade, and has been voted Best Pizza on the Eastern Shore for the past 13 years!
You'll want to start your meal off with their garlic bread, or toasty breadsticks. They're so flavorful and served warm.
Pick a classic pie, like pepperoni...
... or splurge with a loaded Delmar Special!
Their menu features several specialty pies, like Chicken Alfredo, Veggie, or BBQ Bacon.
They've got a menu full of other goodies, too, like homemade pasta dishes and crispy calzones.
Be sure to save room for dessert - their homemade brownies are SO worth the calories!
Delmar Pizza can be found at 38660 Sussex Hwy., Delmar, DE 19940. It's right on the border of Maryland and Delaware, so keep driving til you start to see crabs and you know you're close!
