However, this Litchfield County town is just bursting with wonderful historical attractions and is home to some pretty incredible restaurants, no matter where your tastes lie. One of our favorite spots is the 1754 House in Woodbury, CT. This historic inn has a delicious restaurant, and even a fun blues tavern known as The Flat Five. The historic inn was constructed prior to 1736 and most likely opened for guests around 1754.
The inn's 11 rooms make for a great place to stay on a Litchfield Hills vacation, but even if you're not planning on staying overnight, you don't want to miss the restaurant here.

Why We Love It: It's taken several trips for me to figure out my perfect "weekender bag that's TSA approved," but I've found my perfect carry on with the TOBIQ Colorado 30L.
