Winter break is right around the corner and the kids will be chomping at the bit for something incredible to do. Hopefully, you've managed to grab a few days off too so the whole family can embark on an expedition. If the weather in Connecticut isn't cooperating for an outdoor outing, visit Soarin' Indoors for an epic indoor aerial adventure course that will keep everyone occupied for hours.
Soarin' Indoors is a 16,000-square foot multi-level indoor aerial adventure course. Located in Manchester, the attraction requires no experience, just determination.
Use your balance to navigate the aerial obstacles. There are two separate courses. The low course is 2 1/2 feet above the ground while the high course is 12 feet up in the air.
Navigate wobbly bridges, steps, cargo nets, and other elements within the course. You are attached to a harness for safety so you can feel secure while you explore.
Younger kids usually stick to the low course where there are plenty of challenges to surpass. But even adults will enjoy trying to bypass these hurdles.
Older and braver participants can head up into the rafters on the high level course. Cross from one platform to another on the tricky runs using balance and your willpower.
Climb for as long as you like, your ticket to the adventure course has no time limit. Passes cost $13.95 for children and $18.95 for anyone 13-years-old and up.
The next time the weather outside is frightful, head straight to Soarin' Outdoors at 422 N Main St., Manchester, CT 06042. Learn more by checking out their website for additional details.
