In the modern world, it can feel difficult to get away from stress. Technology definitely has its benefits, but being ever-connected has a price, and often that price is constantly feeling tethered to the responsibilities of work and family. However, we’re fortunate enough to have many peaceful places in Connecticut, spots that offer an escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. One of my favorite ways to relieve stress is to get out into nature. There’s something about the solitude of being surrounded by the natural world that makes all of my problems seem less significant, and it’s good exercise, to boot! If you’re looking for a great hike near Hamden, CT, look no further than Brooksvale Recreation Park. This magical park has a variety of paths in an intricate trail system, but today we’ll be featuring the Red, Blue, and Green Trail hike.
