The Largest Biker Bar In The World Is Set To Open Soon In Colorado

Colorado will soon be home to the world's largest biker bar, replacing Bob and Tony's Pizza in Estes Park.

Colorado is known for lots of things, including our incredible landscapes and majestic mountains, meh sports teams (minus the Nuggets, of course), and our legal cannabis, and pretty soon, we will be adding one more thing to our repertoire. Can you guess what it is? If you read the title of this and answered the world's largest biker bar, you are correct!

Slated to replace Bob and Tony's Pizza in downtown Estes Park is an all-new biker bar, which promises to be the largest in the world!

According to the Estes Park Trail-Gazette, Michael Ballard, the owner of the world-famous Full Throttle Saloon in Vale, South Dakota, announced via Facebook Live in front of the pizzeria, sharing that he purchased the building and planned to bring another Full Throttle Saloon to the Centennial State.

While the former pizzeria will be the new bar's main location, Ballard shared that he also purchased another building near the downtown area, though the exact location has yet to be announced.

Established in 1999, the original Full Throttle Saloon was located on 30 acres of land in Sturgis, South Dakota, but relocated to nearby Vale in 2015, after a fire devastated both the building and land.

Today the Full Throttle Saloon is located in a massive 26,000-square-foot building and attracts 700,000 visitors each year.

In addition to its local fame, the Full Throttle Saloon was also once the setting of a reality show of the same name, which aired on TruTV for 5 seasons.

This space is a nod to local history. In 1859, prospectors came to find gold and many settled in Old Colorado City. The building in which the game store and the speakeasy are located is across from the original Territory Colorado Capital.

When you enter, you'll find a comfortable space that has plenty of room for relaxing, imbibing, eating, and playing games.
