Whether you are renovating your home or working on a special project, you are never too far away from a hardware store. While big-box hardware stores can be incredibly convenient, they lack the personal touch and customized experience that only comes from a small, family-owned business. If you prefer to shop local, you are in luck, as Colorado is home to the must-visit Manzanola Trading Company:
Please note, Manzanola Trading Company has permanently closed.
Welcome to Manzanola, Colorado, an Otero County town that is home to 450 residents and the historic Manzanola Trading Company!
Established in 1869, the Manzanola Trading Company was initially known as the Beaty Mercantile, which served southeast Colorado until its closure in 2007, leaving their building abandoned and the area without a hardware store.
Fortunately, the hardware store was able to make a big comeback and was re-opened in 2014 as the Manzanola Trading Company, giving the town and surrounding area a place to shop for a "little bit of everything."
When you visit the Manzanola Trading Company today, you will find that the store lives up to its promise, as it offers everything from delicious gourmet foods...
...To farmhouse decor and gifts...
...And hard-to-find, must-have antiques and collectibles.
Like all great hardware stores, Manzanola Trading has tools and building supplies, too!
