Mini golf is fun for all ages, but it's especially appealing to children. And whether you have little ones in your life or you're simply a kid at heart yourself, you can probably appreciate a great mini golf course -- especially if it's dinosaur-themed. Lost Island is located in Colorado Springs, and it happens to be open all year.
Lost Island is a locally owned and operated mini-golf course and fun center in Colorado Springs.
After a brief closure, it was brought back from extinction in December of 2018, and it's been going strong ever since.
Lost Island actually features two dinosaur-themed 18-hole mini-golf courses, and they're fantastic.
Although the golf courses are located outdoors, they're open year-round (weather depending).
The courses are beautifully landscaped and full of dino details.
You'll feel like you've entered another (prehistoric) world.
While the courses can be a bit challenging, they're also beginner-friendly, and young children tend to love them.
This little putter even got a hole-in-one!
If it's too cold to play mini-golf and your children are feeling restless, you can bring them to the indoor play area.
This equipment is meant for children eight and younger. If you have older kids who want to play, they can enjoy the giant inflatable park outside.
And while everyone climbs, putts, or plays, you're welcome to enjoy the snack area... it even has a tiki bar.
Needless to say, making a pit stop here is a must.
Playing dinosaur mini-golf here costs a mere $6 ($5 for children 12 and under).
For $9, you can play both courses, for a total of 36 holes. Children can play in the indoor or outdoor play area for $5 an hour ($9 for two hours).
