This hike is 3.9 miles out and back, so you'll have to go back the way you came to get back to your car, but there's so much to see that you certainly won't mind.
Along the way, you'll pass through aspen groves and conifer forests.
This hike is beautiful at any time of the year, but it's best from May to October. It may be muddy in the spring, and in the winter you'll need snowshoes.
