The month of October is jam-packed with fun fall festivals, and if you're looking for a place to get some fresh air and spend an entire day on the farm, you'll want to head to Anderson Farms in Erie, Colorado.
Anderson Farms is a family-owned farm that's been in operation since 1958. The farm was the site of the very first corn maze in Colorado, back in 1999, and the Fall Fest has gotten bigger and bigger ever since.
The Fall Fest runs all the way through October, seven days a week. You'll find Anderson Farms at 6728 County Rd. 3 1/4, Erie, CO 80516.
There's so much to see and do here that you'll want to put aside an entire day to play at the farm.
Plan to spend some time navigating the corn maze. This year's theme is "Heroes," which honors Colorado's first responders.
Once you've tackled the corn maze, the Krazy Rainbow Maze will be a breeze!
Little ones will want to go for a pony ride...
...visit the animals in the Petting Farm...
...ride the Barrel Train...
...play on the Wooden Train...
...and climb around on Tire Mountain.
The Redneck Rollercoaster is a fun thrill.
Older kids will love to race friends and family on the Barnyard 500 Pedal Karts...
...and kids of all ages will love to watch the Pumpkin Cannon in action. There's nothing like the satisfying *SPLAT* when a pumpkin hits after being launched through the air!
Before you leave, don't forget to head to the pumpkin patch to choose the perfect pumpkin for your porch.
Visit the farm's website for more information, and follow its Facebook page for all the latest details!
