Hot Air Balloons Will Be Soaring At Arkansas’ 25th Annual Celebration In The Sky
Harrison will host the 25th Annual Celebration In The Sky, featuring Arkansas' Hot Air Balloon State Championship and various family-friendly activities.
Things are looking up! Harrison will be hosting the 25th Annual Celebration In The Sky, a festival showcasing the state's championship hot air balloon races. The festivities are coming up on April 16th - 18th, 2021 at the Boone County Regional Airport. Let's float along and learn more about this year's happenings:
The Boone County Regional Airport will be bustling with activity in April.
This year will be the 25th Annual Celebration In The Sky. This high-flying festival began back in 1995 and features Arkansas' Hot Air Balloon State Championship. The events will begin at 4 PM on April 16th, 2021 and end that Sunday morning. For the breakdown of the full schedule head here.

These giant balloons are magical to see, whether it's your first time to the fest or 25th.
The 30+ balloons featured this year come from all over the U.S. including Arizona, New Mexico, and Louisiana! The races will be held during the day but don't miss the dazzling Balloon Glow that takes place after sunset.
The hot air balloons certainly take the spotlight but they're not the only thing to see!
Kids can compete in the paper airplane competition and families can even take a ride in a helicopter! There's also a cornhole tournament with a cash prize.
There will also be live music throughout the event.

But the holidays offer something a little extra special and perfect for the whole family.
During the Christmas season, the railroad employs elves to host their special holiday trains, which are called the A&M Holiday Express trains. You'll also hear them referred to as the railroad's pajama trains, but feel free to put on the festive attire you love the most! Jammies and costumes or not, Santa and his elves work hard to make your holiday train experience as magical as possible.
