There's no better time to visit Eureka Springs than Halloween weekend. Arkansas' quirkiest town hosts the most thrilling event of the spooky season. The 7th Annual Zombie Crawl is a family-friendly parade that's freakishly fun. Let's dress up and check out this unique zombie invasion.
The streets of Eureka Springs are starting to look spooky, which means Halloween is right around the corner.
After all, this is the town that turns into a Halloween Wonderland every year.
The spooky town just so happens to host the most magical Halloween event in the state.
The 7th Annual Zombie Crawl will be on Oct. 27th, 2018. The horde will start its shuffle at the library on Spring Street and head to Basin Park.
The Zombie Crawl is a macabre parade procession that brings together locals and visitors in search of fun and brains.
Before the shuffle down Spring Street begins, zombie enthusiasts can learn Thriller from Melonlight Dance at the Basin Park from 12 - 2 pm. This free event is also a canned food drive that benefits the Flint Street Food Bank so be sure to bring a can or two.
If you need help looking drop dead gorgeous, just visit the make-up artists before the parade.
Basin Park will have volunteer make-up artists as well as zombie-themed vendors to assist you in all your undead needs.
The walking dead won't be the only sight to see in the parade.
Hearses, wastelander vehicles, floats, and post-mortem street performers (including a zombie marching band) will be at the start of the procession.
Eureka Springs' largest (and scariest) parade will be a favorite for ghouls and goblins of all ages.
It's a no-brainer that this family fun event is the perfect start to a spooktacular Halloween weekend.
