Coffee has long been a life staple for many Arkansas residents, and we've been happy to see an influx of the more popular cafe chains on the rise here in Natural State towns. What these chain cafes can't offer, however, is the extra-personal service and creativity of these awesome Arkansas coffee houses.

20. Grind's Coffee Company

Located at 1904 South Pine Street in Cabot, Grind's Coffee Company has a comfortable atmosphere where java lovers can sit and enjoy themselves. Grind's is an excellent place to sit and have a delicious light brunch or lunch as well.

19. Baba Boudan's

Baba Boudan's Espresso in Fayetteville is located at 701 North College Avenue and is a family owned and operated business. The service here is quite friendly and the excellent coffee selections impress both locals and travelers from out of town.

The Edge Coffee House in Jonesboro is located at 1900 Aggie Road and features a kitschy rustic atmosphere. You'll like the quirky mismatched furniture and cool decor here! Coffee lovers will also marvel at the fresh brewed coffee served in real porcelain cups.

Eureka Daily Roast can be found at 27 Spring Street in Eureka Springs, and this is just the coffee house to convert your friends if you're looking to expand coffee lovers past the usual Starbucks blends. Be sure to try one of the delicious pastries on display while you're visiting.

The Blackbird Cafe is located in Mountain Home at 300 Library Hill, housed in the Baxter County Library. The coffee brewed here is amazing and you can get freshly prepared sandwiches and salads that come in huge portions, too.

There's plenty of space in this grand Conway coffee house. Blue Sail Coffee is located on 1028 Front Street and serves an amazing selection of delicious coffee. The atmosphere is also enjoyable with cozy couches to chill on and a cool patio where you can enjoy your coffee when the weather's nice.

14. Angler's Cafe

Located at 1343 Highway 5 South in Mountain Home, Angler's Cafe is a wonderful place to stop by for a great cup of coffee. Regulars enjoy such creations as the honeysuckle latte among other unique flavors. The menu is as creative as the coffee. Stay a while and have a great breakfast along with your favorite blend of java.

13. Sufficient Grounds Cafe

The java is excellent and the location is great at Sufficient Grounds, a long-time favorite Little Rock coffee house that's easily found at 124 West Capitol Avenue in Suite 101. Regulars enjoy the coffee as well as a breakfast to go or a quick lunch here; the service is friendly and fast!

River City Coffee in Little Rock can be found in Hillcrest at 2913 Kavanaugh Boulevard. You'll discover one of the best mocha lattes you've ever had once you've paid a visit to this cozy little cafe!

When you're traveling through Heber Springs, be sure to stop at Jitterbug Coffeehouse at 109 West Main Street! The vibe here is quaint and quirky, and coffee lovers have plenty of options and flavors to choose from on the menu. Take your time in selecting; the service here is friendly and will make you feel at home.

Springdale's Pontiac Coffee House is located at 515 South Thompson Street and specializes in delicious espressos and lattes. You'll also like the homestyle food served in this vintage cafe atmosphere, too.

6. Kennedy Coffee Roasting Company

Located in Bentonville at 2501 Southeast 14th Street, the Kennedy Coffee Roasting Company serves delicious specialty coffee. The frozen drinks are well worth a try too. (Try the Mind Mud or the Frozen Pumpkin and you'll be delighted)

Mama Carmen's Espresso Cafe is located in Fayetteville at 2850 North College Avenue offers some of the best tea and coffee in northwest Arkansas. Find a spot among the crowd of regulars and enjoy excellent service and beverages. There's plenty of seating inside!

Pour Jon's on 223 North Wright Street in Siloam Springs is the perfect place if you love music on vinyl and diverse blends of coffee and tea. The atmosphere here is hip, making this locale a great coffee joint to make your newest hangout.

We're always raving about the Mud Street Cafe in Eureka Springs, and for very good reason! This award-winning cafe on 22 South Main Street has an excellent selection of self serve coffee flavors as well as a breakfast, brunch, or lunch that will have you coming back for seconds.

Guillermo's Gourmet Grounds is great at making customers feel like special guests once they enter this fun and friendly coffee house. Located at 10700 North Rodney Parham Road in Suite A2, Guillermo's not only offers a bevy of excellent breakfast options but also serves a wonderful variety of coffee blends, teas, and smoothies.
