From upscale resale to shops with a cause, you’re going to love these 11 small businesses. Each one has that little extra something that will make your treasure hunting mission extra special.
1. Designer Again (Fort Smith)
Located just off of Garrison Avenue in Fort Smith, Designer Again is sort of a bargain hunter’s paradise. From furniture to knick knacks to rack after rack of clothes, there really isn’t anything they don’t carry. You can find Designer Again at 16 North 3rd Street in Fort Smith.
2. Food Bank of North Central Arkansas Thrift Store (Norfork)
This is a food bank with a truly great cause. Every cent of the profits of the Food Bank of North Central Arkansas Thrift Store goes to feed the hungry families of the region. They’ve got a wide selection of treasures there, and you can feel good about every penny you save and every penny you spend at the Food Bank of North Central Arkansas Thrift Store.
3. Good Shepherd Doggie Thrift Stores (Berryville & Eureka Springs)
Here’s another place where you can find deals and feel good about the money you spend. The two Good Shepherd Doggie Thrift Stores benefit a Eureka Springs animal shelter that houses up to a hundred homeless animals at a time. They keep up a good stock of antiques, clothing, furniture, and a whole lot more. The Berryville location can be found at 207 Eureka Street and the Eureka Springs shop is located at 124 West Van Buren.
4. Friendship Center Thrift Store (Texarkana)
Please note, Friendship Center Thrift Store has permanently closed.
The Friendship Center Thrift Store is another shop with a worthy cause. The proceeds benefit a local ministry that provides assistance for those in need, including the homeless population of Texarkana, in the form of a soup kitchen, a grocery assistance program, and a vocational training program. They keep a good variety of donated items in stock there, too. You can find them at 714 East Street in Texarkana.
5. The Twisted Peacock (Paragould)

8. Closet Collections Consignment (Searcy)
Though from their name it may sound like Closet Collections is all about clothes, that would not be correct. On top of lots of gently worn clothing, Closet Collections also keeps a good stock of home decor, accessories, and furniture. Closet Collections is located at 1898 East Market Avenue in Searcy.
9. The Spotted Goat Resale Store (Lowell)

10. Black Dog Boutique (Bryant)
Please note, Black Dog Boutique has permanently closed.
Black Dog Boutique buys and sells name brand children’s clothing, and if you’re in need for a cute outfit for a tyke they simply can’t be beat. They’re incredibly picky about what they buy, so you can count on clean and gently used when you visit. Black Dog Boutique is located at 3411 Main Street, Suite 3 in Bryant.
11. Yours Truly Consignment (Conway)
Yours Truly Consignment isn’t your average consignment shop. Upscale resale for men, women, and young adults is the name of the game there. They’ve got serious style at thrift store prices, and they tag 750 items a day in 20,000 square feet of retail space. Now that’s an awful lot of gently used, fashionable items to look through at 1052 Harrison Suite 1-6 in Conway.
