Filling food with no shortage of flavor is one thing we can all agree on in Arkansas. Although we have no shortage of delicious eateries in the state, there's some that stand out as original icons. Let's take a mouthwatering look at one of these icons, the Gaskins Cabin Steakhouse just outside of Eureka Springs.
If you'd like to dine somewhere off the main strip during your getaway at Eureka Springs, you should take a quick drive up AR-23 North.
The seven minute drive is just gorgeous.
You'll reach this beautiful cabin, which just so happens to be the most delectable, rustic steakhouse in the state.
Gaskins Cabin Steakhouse serves fantastically rich food and has a rich history as well.
The cabin was originally built in 1864 by this man.
This is John Gaskins, one of the original Eureka Springs' pioneers and famous bear hunter. The cabin is actually the oldest standing property in Carroll County. The current owners, Lisa and Bert, have kept the history but added a delicious dining experience to the cabin.
Since 2008, Lisa and Bert have kept the cabin's authenticity while serving award-winning steaks.
The rustic feel of the cabin definitely adds to the warm hospitality.
The steakhouse (steakcabin?) uses 100% Black Angus Beef, grown in the U.S. by Creekstone Farms.
They also have a great selection of salmon, tilapia, shrimp, and chicken. But you probably had a steak in mind.
The cabin's specialty is prime rib.
You may have never thought prime rib could be beautiful but wow, talk about mouth watering.
They also have different specials you can take advantage of, such as their steak skewers.
In addition to classic sides like a baked potato and salad, you can also choose from fettuccine with a garlic cream sauce or long-grain wild rice.
No matter if you bring a party...
