Come take a tour of the zoo without ever leaving home! The Little Rock Zoo is hosting Facebook live videos of different exhibits throughout the park. We may need to wait to plan a trip in person but these interactive videos are a fun way to connect until then.
We may have to wait until summer before visiting the Little Rock Zoo again but that doesn't mean the zoo can't come to us!
Your favorite animals can now be visited without you ever needing to leave the couch!
The zoo is featuring a different exhibit each day during spring break for families to enjoy.
The videos are shot through Facebook Live so you can interact and ask questions to the keepers in real time. If you missed the video of the day - no worries! These virtual tours can be accessed at anytime through the zoo's Facebook Page.
Twelve different exhibits will be explored during the Virtual Spring Break.
The zookeepers will go live at 2 pm every day between March 19-29th, 2020. The featured animals include lions, otters, penguins, elephants, small carnivores, siamangs, reptiles, rhinos, sloths, bears, orangutans, and birds of prey.
This is a wonderful chance for kids to have an at-home educational experience as well as some cute animal enjoyment.
The penguins got to enjoy their own spring break by exploring parts of the zoo, including the playground! It's ridiculously adorable and you can watch right here.
If you've just been hanging out at home then add in these refreshing animal videos to your routine.
The videos can be accessed at anytime after the live recording by visiting the Little Rock Zoo's Facebook Page. For updates on when the zoo reopens, keep tabs on their website.
