From our tea to our cornbread, there's no denying that Arkansans like to sneak in a bit of sugar every now and then. One way to indulge in that statewide sweet tooth is with a treat from Bliss Cupcake. Our favorite cupcake cafe has a succulent selection of treats from cookie dough to pretzels. Grab a glass of milk as we peruse this Arkansas sweet spot.
Welcome to Bliss Cupcake! This little cafe has been spreading like sprinkles in Arkansas since 2009.
They have stores in Fayetteville, Rogers, Fort Smith, and Jonesboro.
Cupcake creators are up before dark to start on the day's menu.
All the treats at Bliss are made in a common kitchen (as opposed to a industrious commercial kitchen) and are from time-tested recipes.
You may be staring at the glass for some time while you make up your mind.
Red Velvet and Chocolate Milkshake Cupcakes will be available every day. You can check their website for what the other 10-12 cupcake flavors will be or be happily surprised with each visit.
Flavors range from ooey gooey chocolate attack to a daintier sweetness.
Try an Elvis which is a wickedly delicious mix of dense banana cake, chocolate filling middle, and peanut butter frosting topped with chopped salted peanuts and sprinkles. Go with a Lavender Honey for a lighter flavor, it's white cake with a just a hint of lavender topped with a delicious honey buttercream.
If you're searching for something sweet but not of the cupcake variety, you're in luck! Bliss has all sort of sweet options, from cookie sandwiches...
Which will be filled with frosting or ice cream depending on the season.
...to delicious macarons.
For those interested in becoming a sweetness savant, the Bliss Macaron is different than a macaroon. Macarons are a meringue base cookie sandwich while macaroons are coconut based cookies.
No longer will you have to sneak licks with the beaters, edible cookie dough is now available, too.
Bliss finally found a loophole to that pesky childhood rule! Mothers everywhere rolled their eyes when Bliss recently unveiled their edible cookie dough. The dough uses pasteurized eggs (or none at all) and heat treated flour.
Bliss has all sorts of sweets.
We covered just the tip of the icing-berg. Bliss also has candied pretzels, cookies, cake balls, and frosting shots (little cups of frosting for an extra sugar kick). They also have gluten-free and vegan-friendly items available.
Bliss Cupcake won't discriminate if you happen to have four legs.
Pupcakes are made with all natural ingredients and are doggie-friendly.
Bliss is available for your wedding or next party.
You can pick your favorite flavors and have cupcakes delivered to your reception. For a smaller, non-nuptial gathering, you can order for a Bliss Cupcake Decorating Party. You'll get printed invitations and boxes that contain decorations, frosting, and (of course) cupcakes.
Next time your sweet tooth needs attention, be sure to visit Bliss Cupcake Cafe.
