We're used to having bragging rights over top ranking cities like Hot Springs and Eureka Springs. These beloved places are always making national lists whether its for beauty or tourism. However, another great Arkansas city just made the top 15 for "Best Places to Live in America" by financial magazine Money and Realtor.com. Let's see what makes Rogers so special.
The city of Rogers just made the top 15 for "Best Places to Live in America."
Rogers ranked 14th and beat cities from the Carolinas, Colorado, and California. The study looked at education, income, job growth, and other factors to determine which places were best.
Centrally located in NWA, its easy to see why this city is one of the best.
Folks of Rogers can easily take advantage of a family trip to Bentonville (like at Crystal Bridges) or splurge on a date night in Fayetteville.
Residents of Rogers helped raise the rank of the city.
Nearly 90% of adults have a high school diploma, which is much higher than the state's 78%. In addition to a high employment and income average, the expected job growth is an impressive 7.82%
(from 2017-2022).
Rogers families aren't the only folks that benefit from these bragging rights.
Although Rogers is a sizable city, it's small-town vibe was one of the things that made it stand out from the others. Anyone can enjoy strolling along the quaint downtown.
The study took Roger's weather into account, too.
The most unconventional criterion was the number of clear days per year, which happens to be 218. This means visitors have a 60% chance of nice weather while exploring Hobbs State Park-Conservation Area, Arkansas' largest state park.
Anyone visiting or living in Rogers can take advantage of these clear days without leaving city limits.
Camp out at the state park or simply enjoy a picnic at Lake Atalanta.
Congratulations to Rogers for being one of the best places to live!
