Arizona is home to a burgeoning art scene and it's spilling over from galleries into the streets. It not only becomes great publicity for the artist but also creates colorful, beautiful signs of Arizona life. Check out a few examples of the street art present in our state.
1. Welcome to Arizona indeed. This one was found in Phoenix.
2. This one is located on the side of a car wash on Roosevelt & 7th Avenue in Phoenix.
3. This one features characters from the “Wallace and Ladmo Show.” Anyone remember watching it as a kid?
4. This interesting piece can be found in Flagstaff and is by artist Kory Begay.
5. Here’s one found in downtown Tucson. Why do you think she has a spoon on her nose?
6. This wheat paste was found north of Tuba City along Highway 160.
7. The alley behind the Phoenix Arizona Art Supply is covered in similar artwork. What made this one stand out was the deliberate placement of art on different blocks to make it look like the blocks were re-arranged.
8. Led Zeppelin fans in Tucson should keep an eye out for this near the Zia Records.
9. If you’re driving along Grand Avenue in Phoenix, keep an eye out for this striking blue artwork.
10. Here’s a Flagstaff piece by artist Chip Thomas. It’s located at San Francisco Street and Butler.
11. This is an example of the extensive amount of street art found along Roosevelt Row in central Phoenix.
12. If anyone is able to read binary code, please let us know what this says. This was found in Scottsdale.
13. Another Flagstaff artwork found along San Francisco Street.
14. This one found near Central in Phoenix is certainly a different take on the usual work seen on walls.
15. Perhaps this was the artist’s way of saying that traditional forms of jazz and graffiti share at least one thing: improvisation.

17. This one was found somewhere in Bisbee.
18. An image of the Mona Lisa found on an abandoned building in Bisbee.
19. This artist had a bleak outlook on achieving peace. This was found in Tempe near Ash Avenue.
20. This was found in central Phoenix.
21. Here is one from Goodyear. It's difficult to read but is impressive.
22. This was found on an abandoned building in Queen Creek.
