To reach this waterfall, you'll simply hike a 0.4-mile, out-and-back trail, which begins at a parking lot just off Mt. Olive Road and will lead you to the top of the waterfall.
After reaching the top of Holmes Chapel Falls, you'll then follow the path off to the left. From there you'll hike down a steep incline to the bottom of the waterfall. Don't forget to wear appropriate shoes.
Holmes Chapel Falls, which only has a single drop, offers a moderate level of difficulty. Because of this, it's not recommended for everyone.
After reaching the bottom of the waterfall, you can also walk behind it. If you do this, remember to use caution because the rocks can become quite slippery.
The next time you're in the mood for a short, yet rewarding, hike, consider hiking the trail that leads to Holmes Chapel Falls. You'll love everything about it, especially the waterfall.
