I absolutely love Christmas in Alabama; it’s something so magical. In fact, we have one of the best Christmas towns in the US! The coastal town of Fairhope celebrates Christmas right. What makes Fairhope such a magical place to visit during this time of year is its festive downtown area. Take a look below to learn about the Fairhope Alabama Christmas events that are scheduled to take place downtown this holiday season. If you ask me, you’ll want to attend them all.
Fairhope is located along the shoreline of Mobile Bay in Baldwin County, Alabama. This picturesque town is a must-visit year-round, but at Christmastime, it's extra special.

This magical event brings the entire community together to kick off the holiday season. Local school bands and choirs are also scheduled to perform.
And every year, children and adults will gather downtown for the town's annual Movie in the Street On Fairhope Avenue. Don't forget to bring along a chair and a cozy blanket. Refreshments will be available, and the event is free.
Every holiday season, Fairhope also hosts its annual Christmas Open House. Several of the shops in downtown Fairhope are closed on Sundays. However, on this particular Sunday, they'll be open and ready to meet your Christmas shopping needs.
In early December Fairhope's Magical Christmas Parade will take place. This is one of the city's main Christmas events and you don't want to miss it!
Another event to look forward to is the annual Santa Saturday. On these special days, children can visit Santa and have their picture taken with him.
