There are some hikes in Idaho that are perfect for an afternoon adventure. The trails are easy, the effort is minimal, and the views are breathtaking. The Glassford Peak Trail is not one of them. This is one of the most challenging hikes you will tackle in Idaho and it’s one that beginning hikers will want to avoid. However, despite the difficulty, you are going to encounter inspiring landscapes, a few natural wonders, and a hiking trip of a lifetime. The Glassford Peak Trail is located in the Hemingway-Boulders Wilderness just a short drive from Hailey. On this trail, you will hike to the beautiful Glassford Peak, which stands at 11,500 feet in elevation.

But despite the challenge, the hike to Glassford Peak is going to be worth every step. You will walk along creeks with the towering mountains surrounding you.
