Picture this: you’re taking in the incredible panoramic views at a brewery where the fellow who brewed your beer also grew up in the house you’re drinking it in. Now, imagine if the brewer’s parents still lived upstairs. That’s exactly the sort of place Bier’s Inwood Brewery is. This incredible brewery in Charlevoix, Michigan features breathtaking views and an impressive menu of beer, cider, and wine… most of it made onsite.
Bier's Inwood Brewery provides guests one of the best views in all of Charlevoix. The Victorian-style house is situated on the highest point around, allowing visitors full 360-degree views.
There's not a bad seat in (or outside) of the house at this Charlevoix brewery. The backyard offers views of a sprawling orchard...
...While out in front, you'll find a sprawling, lush lawn with picnic tables spaced throughout. Perfect for enjoying one of the brewery's many delicious brews.
Out front, you'll also find fireplaces for the chilly evenings, as well as activities like horseshoes. That's not even the best part of the outdoor area of this family-owned brewery.

The best part of visiting this Brewery in Michigan is the clear view of Lake Michigan in the distance. Surrounded by a literal garden's worth of landscaping, sipping on a fresh beer and taking in all this scenery? Sounds like somewhere I want to be!
And I haven't even started talking about my other favorite part yet - the beer! With 18 taps of home-brewed beer on deck, every flavor palate is sure to find something to please.
Yes, even those hop-lovin' IPA-heads. At the time of this writing, Bier's Inwood Brewery had three IPAs on tap: a double IPA, a New England IPA, and Ron Mexico: an easy-drinking session IPA at only 5 percent ABV!
With 18 beers on draft at this wonderful brewery in Michigan with a view, it might be hard to make a decision about what to order. That's when one of Bier's Inwood Brewery's flights might come in handy!
When it's hot outside, I recommend checking out some of this Charlevoix brewery's lighter brews, like their Kolsch or Wheat beer. If you're lucky, you might even catch a taste of the juicy Staycation, a low-ABV shandy that's flavored with ripe peaches.
Bier's Inwood Brewery's darker beer shouldn't be slept on, either. I'm eyeing Rockin' & Rollin', an incredible-sounding coconut porter. Bonus: if you fall in love with a beer during your visit, you can bring some home in a growler!
Another reason to visit this Charlevoix, Michigan brewery with incredible views is its food selection. You can hop right next door and order a pizza from Pizza Girl at the window and enjoy it outside on the spacious grounds. Or... if you're too into your beer to get up from the bar, you can order there, as well.
Pictured above is Pizza Girl's "Greek It Up" pie, featuring olive oil, spinach, feta, tomatoes, kalamata, red onions, and pepperoncini.
If one of Pizza Girl's signature pies doesn't get your tummy growling, you can build one of your own. Heads up to those with a gluten intolerance, Pizza Girl offers a cauliflower crust option!
And if you're lucky enough to be visiting in the winter, you'll definitely want to treat yourself to one of Bier's Inwood Brewery's hearty stouts and an ooey-gooey s'more from Pizza Girl.
