Camping is one of those perfect family getaways, especially if you choose the right campground. Family campgrounds, in particular, are generally brimming with amenities, so everyone in the family will have something to do. Eagles Peak, a family campground in Pennsylvania, offers so many amenities – from a waterpark to a mini golf course – that you may never want to check out.
If it’s a relaxing, family-friendly getaway you’re after this summer, plan a stay at Adventure Bound’s Eagles Peak, in Robesonia, a massive family campground that’s the size of a small town.
Your most important decision is, of course, deciding on accommodations. If you have an RV, you can reserve a spot for your stay. However, don’t worry if you don’t.
Eagles Peak also offers deluxe and rustic cabins, premium RV rentals, and the Pond View Farm House, the latter of which comfortably sleeps up to 12 guests.
While you’ll likely find the best accommodations for your family, you probably won’t spend too much time indoors, especially after you check out all of the campground's amenities.
Hot days mean cooling off at Pirate’s Cove Water Park, which boasts more than a half of a dozen waterslides. Or, relax in one of the two crystal clear pools.
Bring your favorite remote control car for a thrilling race on the remote control racetrack, or join an impromptu game of volleyball, basketball, horseshoes, or shuffleboard.
Eagles Peak also hosts events throughout the camping season, including themed weekends. Carnival Weekend, for example, is set for July 24-26, 2020. The weekend will feature carnival games, a clown, cotton candy, and face painting.
While day passes are currently not available, Eagles Peak often welcomes the general public to use the water park and other activities on select days during the season.
