One of the most wonderful things about living in Utah is our long-standing traditions, and many of them center around holidays and festivals. The Beehive State just wouldn't be the same without Pioneer Day, Midway's Swiss Days, or Peach Days in Brigham City. Peach Days is just around the corner, and you're going to want to put it on your calendar now.
Brigham City has a population of around 19,000 people, but every September it receives more than 35,000 visitors for its famous Peach Days festival.
The festival runs on Friday, September 6th and Saturday, September 7th. Starting at 10 a.m. on Friday, the food, art, and crafts vendors offer local, hand-crafted items and fine art, as well as some tasty food.
Make sure to stop by the Library Book Sale at the Brigham City Library. The sale runs Thursday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., so stock up on all your favorite reads!
Address: 26 East Forest Street, Brigham City, UT 84302
The kids will want to head straight to the City of Fun Carnival, which opens at 4 p.m. on Friday the 6th and runs til 11 p.m. On Saturday, it's open from 11 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.
Saturday morning is jam-packed with all kinds of fun activities, including a 5k, 10k, Fireman Association's Breakfast, softball tournament, and of course, the parade!
The entire community is involved in one way or another in the parade. Wave when the Peach Days Royalty passes by, clap for the firefighters, and marvel at all the floats sponsored by local businesses.
