The best place to find psychedelic attractions in America is Indiana where there are at least eight places to get lost in the trippy effects of the colors, shapes, and designs of an activity. These gardens, statues, and natural attractions will make you look at the state in an entirely new light. Check it out:
1. Linton's Enchanted Gardens
This garden center is like a mini amusement park. It features a colorful quilt garden that will blow your mind for sure. You'll also find a cafe, waterfalls, additional flower gardens, kiddie trains, and much more.
2. The Hubcap Lady
The scrap metal structure in Jeffersonville is a tribute to the virtues of womanhood. It sits near railroad tracks at a lumberyard and was constructed in 1983 by the owner of a metalworking company. It is a trippy sight to see this Frankenstein-esque state of a woman next to the scales of Justice.
3. Pine Hills Nature Preserve
Visitors to this natural wilderness will be blown away by the rock formations. Created by algae pockets, this honeycomb-shaped rock is unlike anything else in the state. Backbones, slides, and a mill can also be spotted here.
4. Elite Beverages
One of the most psychedelic attractions in the state is the pink elephant outside of this liquor store in central Indiana just outside of Indianapolis. Holding a martini and wearing thick-rimmed black glasses, this giant statue will make any passerby look twice.
5. Seven Pillars Nature Preserve
Eroded by wind and water over the years, the interior of these pillars have been used for Native American meetings and trading posts though they are now used for hiking adventures.
6. Marengo Caves
The caves in Indiana offer an experience like none other. From the underground rivers to the dripping rock formations, the extraordinary sights in the caves are like nothing else in the state.
7. Jug Rock
This 60-foot-tall piece of sandstone is more than 280 million years old and is known as a rock table formation. It is one of the most unique sights in the state that everyone should see.
8. Birdhouse Paradise
Thousands of colorfully painted birdhouses, as well as about 20,000 painted rocks, grace this southern Indiana property in a small town that most people don't even know exists. It was all created by one man who used to code for the military and who now wishes to enjoy a life of color. Psychedelic thoughts will certainly enter your head after visiting this beautiful place.
