Half Baked is located at 120 S. Phillips Avenue, in the heart of downtown Sioux Falls.
Don't worry - this little shop gets its name from the fact that the owner had a half-baked idea to open up a cupcake shop. The idea, though somewhat spontaneous at the time, worked out just fine, and these cupcakes are anything but half-baked!

The shop has seating for 50 people, with plenty of cozy spaces to relax and enjoy the company of your friends and family while you nibble on a decadent snack.
There's also a kids' corner where your little ones can stay happy and busy while you relax. Because let's face it - being a parent is hard work and you definitely deserve a second cupcake.
These cinnamon rolls technically aren't cupcakes, but they're baked in a cupcake liner, so we're saying they count. They're so delicious that you won't want to pass them up!
Host your next birthday party at Half Baked. The shop offers a Decorate Your Own Cupcake Bar with all the frostings and decorations for each guest to create a special cupcake.

Why We Love It: It's taken several trips for me to figure out my perfect "weekender bag that's TSA approved," but I've found my perfect carry on with the TOBIQ Colorado 30L. An Instagram ad caught my eye during a late-night scroll session and I was intrigued by the colorful compartments and versatility of the bag, which can be carried as a duffle or as a backpack (I prefer the backpack for even weight distribution and airport navigation.) Why I Love It: Fact: Airplanes are notoriously dry, dry, dry. No matter how much water I drink both before and during the flight, I always find myself in a hydration deficit for days. Hidden away in Rapid City, South Dakota, is a cute little mom-and-pop bake shop that's nothing short of excellent, no matter what time of year you opt to show up. Enter Jerry's Cakes & Donuts, a simple bake shop with dozens - more than two dozen! - of amazing donut flavors to choose from; in the fall, things get even better with the arrival of all our favorite fall flaves.
Pumpkin spice, apple cider, apple fritters... if these words are enough to make your mouth water, just think about how much salivating you'll do from the moment you walk into the shop to the moment you leave. The smells are free. I recommend you take some deep whiffs (along with a couple dozen donuts).
Fresh-baked every morning, Jerry's donuts are easily some of the best you'll ever eat. The bakery is wondrous, and I bet you'll find yourself craving these donuts at all times of day, all year round. But, goodness, fall is my favorite.
There's something special about celebrating shorter days, longer nights, and cooler temperatures with tasty baked goods - especially of the pumpkin and/or apple cider variety. Sure, you can get the classics all year, but now's the time for seasonal favorites galore.
Awesomely, Jerry's Cakes & Donuts is open seven days a week. From Monday through Friday, get your donuts from 5 a.m. until 4 p.m., and on weekends from 5 a.m. until noon. The prices are as delicious as the donuts; affordable, fluffy, and delicious, you can't possibly pick the wrong thing when you're here, especially during the autumn months.
Personally, I'm a sucker for all things donut, so pumpkin delights available at this time of year are just the icing on the... well, donuts, I suppose. It works either way.
